another birthday!

I am 55 today!
What an age!1 year and 7 months of drawing!

This is how I played with Crayola crayons and oil pastels for one hour this morning!






This is on canvas panel 6x8in.


One more hour of drawing in the afternoon.This is not my art day but anyway here is my vase of sunflowers in Caran d'Ache watercolor pencils dry with two choices of background on Stonehenge pad 5x7in.

I really enjoyed using this technique and probably circulism will be from now on my favorite technique in colored pencils.

mon papillon



Today I discovered the technique called circulism for creating colored pencil drawings.This is the first time using this technique on a flower and butterfly and I guess I will have to study it in depth as it is so relaxing and fun.

Just playing with crayola markers. The hydrangea is from life, my patio shrub; and the peaches from reference, glued on Canson mi-teintes brown pad 5x7in.
The sunflower also glued on Bristol board.
